James "Goofy" Gardner

James “Goofy” Gardner, 83, of Providence passed away at Colonial Terrace in Sebree on December 12th.  He was the son of the late Hobert & Betty Gardner & also preceded in death by his wife Barbara (Guinn) &  brother Bill Gardner.  Goofy is survived his daughters; Cindy Vaughn (Steve) & Pam Lloyd (Scott), sister in law Joyce Gardner, best friend Christopher Villines, friends Jerry Lee & Dawn Frederick,  grandchildren; Christopher, Nicole, Destiny, Christian, Kelby, & Cody, 7 great grandchildren, and nephew Garrett Gardner.  James “Goofy” was Coal Miner, Barber, and Factory worker during his working years and proudly served his Country in the Army.  The deceased has chosen Cremation with no services and will be placed to rest in White Oak Cemetery at a later date.  For online Condolences and more visit www.joneskirby.com
