Lanny Glenn Allen

Lanny Glenn Allen Sr., 71, of Providence passed away at his residence on October 30, 2018.  He is the son of the late Kenneth Allen.  He is preceded in death by Carrie Lee “Momma”  Loveless, his dear Uncle James Loveless, and brother Gayln Mac Allen.  Lanny is survived by his mother Lemma Loveless, loving wife Connie Marie (Babb) Allen, sons; Lanny Glenn Allen Jr., Roddy & Denise Brown, Jeffery & Mandy Brown, brother Perry Moxley, sisters Terri Ellis &  Marilyn Benson, 7 Grandchildren Mariah & Matt Robb, Madison Allen, Chase & Shelby Brown, Zane Brown, Courtney Brown, Kayleigh Brown, Dustin Brown, and 1 Great Grandson Harvey Robb,
Lanny retired as a detective with the Kentucky State Police with over 27 years on the force.  He loved his family and community.  Visitation will be from 9am  to  1pm Friday November 2, 2018  in the Chapel of Jones Kirby Funeral Home with services at 1pm conducted by Bro.
