Agnes (Rakestraw) Malcom

Agnes Rakestraw Malcom 96, of Slaughters, KY passed away November 15, 2014 in Madisonville at Baptist Health. She was preceded in death by her husband William Carmen Malcom and a sister Vaden Mae Peavler. She is survived by her daughters Linda M Skinner of Slaughters and Sherry Coffman Plummer of Muhlenberg County. Mrs. Malcom graduated from Slaughters in 1935. She married on October 2, 1946 in Henderson, KY. She was also a passed KY Colonel,  Hospice Nurse until 1997 and oldest church member of Mt. Pleasant Church and homemaker. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in the chapel at Jones Funeral Home in Providence from 10:00 a.m. until service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Slaughters.
