Calvin E. Eaves

Calvin Eugene Eaves, 71, of Providence, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at his home. He was born March 29, 1941, in Providence, KY, to the late Julius Eaves and Lucille Hines Eaves.
He worked for Labor Local 561 in Evansville, IN; Island Creek Coal Company; Providence Fire Department; and Aramark in Madisonville, KY. Also, he attended Marable Temple Church of God in Christ in Providence, where he faithfully served as a deacon for several years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and his sister Eva lona Eaves Mason. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Drucilla Bowling Eaves of Providence, KY; four daughters: Lisa Eaves of Nashville, TN; Vickie Eaves Scisney of Madisonville, KY; Donna Eaves (Anthony) Jones of Madison, TN; and Angelia Eaves of LaVergne, TN; two sons: Robert Eaves of Madisonville, KY; and Calvin J. J. Eaves of Nashville, TN; four grandchildren: Stephen Scisney, De'Arlo Scisney, Kayla Jones, and Amber Jones; one great-grandson, Malachi Scisney; one brother, Jerry (Martha) Eaves of Providence, KY; one aunt, Margaret Hawkins of Providence, KY; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service for Mr. Eaves will take place on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at 1:00 p,m, at Marable Temple Church of God in Christ with Elder Ira Hathaway to officiate. Visitation will take place before the service on Wednesday, February 13, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.Interment will be in Cumberland Hill Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Family Life Center of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Providence.
