Connie Illene Benger

Connie Illene Benger, 55 of Nebo, passed away on Monday, Jan. 21 in Madisonville.
She was born on September 14, 1957 in Madisonville to William and Katherine Blanchard.  She attended schools in Providence and was married to Jerry Benger on Nov. 27, 1982 in Madisonville. The couple lived in Indiana for 13 years before returning to Kentucky 16 years ago. 
Connie was an Elvis fan, she enjoyed sewing and crafts and sang at area churches.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband Jerry of Nebo, two sisters Emily Parish and Edith Whitfield both of Providence and a brother Shelly Blanchard of Nebo.
Four nephews, Jerry Rudd, Johnny Whitfield, Michael Whitfield and Denver Head Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Jan. 28 at 1 PM at Jones & Erdman in Providence.  Interment will be in Rose Creek Cemetery.  Visitation is on Monday from 11 AM to service time at the funeral home.
