Dee Leslie Burton, 70 of Diamond, died on Wednesday June 6 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
He was born on Feb. 6, 1942 in Providence.
Dee and Judith Ann Hill were married July 11, 1962 and lived in many places during Dee’s Air Force career, later settling in Diamond.
He worked as a welder for Bucyrus Erie in Evansville and at Providence Machine and enjoyed fishing, gardening and hummingbirds.
He was preceded in death by his wife Judy in 2008.
Survivors include two daughters Dee Ann Sheridan of Providence and Andrea Wells of Atwood, Tennessee, three sons, Keith Burton of Diamond, Gregory Scott and wife Diane Burton and Christopher Sheridan both of Providence.
Five grandchildren, Audrey LaDee Burton, Sarah Jo Williams, Aaren Leslie Conner Burton, Geg Burton and Austin Burton. 6 great grandchildren Jaidyn, Landen, Breelyn, Jace, Madelynn Paige and Jaxon.
A brother Clyde Burton of Princeton and three sisters, Judy Raymond of Calvert City, Joyce Cowan of Clay and Wanda Belt of Providence.
