Elena Doris Vaughn

Elena Doris Vaughn, 90 of Providence, KY passed away May 24, 2018 in Kokomo IN where she had moved in June 2017 for health reasons to be closer to family.  She was the daughter of the late Sherman & Mekla Dorris Hughes.  She is survived by a Brother-in-law James Dunbar, Nieces; Debbie Synder & Rhonda Smith and a nephew Guy Ogilby.  She is preceded in death by her husband Norman Vaughn, Son David Vaughn, Sister Loyce Dunbar, & Brother James Norris Hughes.  She worked for the Providence State Bank & was a Telephone Company Operator and a member of First Baptist Church in Providence.  Her hobbies were singing, painting, watching Kentucky Wildcat basketball, spending time with friends and family.  Visitation will be from 1pm to 2pm Monday and Funeral Services at 2pm in the Chapel of Jones Kirby Funeral Home with Bro. Laddie Pride officiating with burial to follow in Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.
