Joyce L. Frederick

Joyce L. Frederick, 71 of Providence, passed away on Sunday, July 15 in Madisonville.
She was born on August 29, 1940 in Webster County to Robert and Loretta Brooks.
Joyce graduated from Providence High School and was married to Jimmy Lee Frederick on June 5, 1965.  She was a bookkeeper at Independence Bank in Providence until her retirement.  She was a member of the General Baptist Church in Providence and served as treasurer for several years.  Joyce loved her family and flowers.
Survivors include her son Scott of Providence, her mother Loretta Brooks also of Providence, a sister Betty Yarbrough of Jackson Mo.  Two brothers, Morris W. Brooks of Sparta Il. and Robert E. Brooks of Providence and a special friend and sister in law Linda McDowell of Providence.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Jimmy Lee Frederick and her father Robert Brooks both in 2007.
