Mary Elizabeth (Flory) Scofield

Mary Elizabeth Flory Scofield, formerly of Ledbetter, KY passed away September 1, 2016 at her home in Dalton, KY. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Scofield; parents Ben and Nellie Flory; sisters Nancy Peffley and Sarah Karnes. She is survived by son Joe Scofield of Palm Bay, FL, Charlie Scofield (Kim) of Muncie, IN, Tom Scofield (Tina) of Clay, KY, daughters Karen Melton (Rickie) of Symsonia, KY, Shelly Green (Ronnie) of Dalton, KY, 15 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She was a member of Ledbetter Methodist Church and Christ Temple in Providence and a member of Ladies Auxiliary in Burna, KY. Visitation will be at Jones and Kirby Funeral Home, Saturday, September 3, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Visitation and Services will also be held at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance, OH, Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 10 a.m. until Service at 12:00 p.m.  Interment will be at Riverview Memory Gardens. In Lieu of flowers Hospice of West KY.
