Mary Delores (Hill) Stanley

Mary Delores Hill Stanley, 86 of Nebo, KY went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday Dec. 20, 2017.  She was born Feb. 23, 1931 to the late John & Norene Morrow Hill.   Mary was married to Doug Stanley on Sept. 19, 1958. She was a retired administrator of Madisonville Health Occupations School.  Mary was a long standing member of Nebo Missionary Baptist Church and served the public in community health for many years as a RN.  Mary is survived by her husband Doug of 59 years,  Daughter: Kim Qualls (Tommie); 2 grandchildren, Son: Kent Stanley (Terri); 2 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren, Daughter: Karen Christopher (Dan) of Florence, SC; 10 grandchildren & 1 great grandchild. She also is survived by a sister Betty Sue Hill of Owensboro, KY,  Visitation will be Friday Dec. 22 from 5 to 8 PM in the Chapel at Jones Kirby Funeral Home & From 10 to 11 AM Saturday with  Funeral at 11am in the Chapel with Burial to follow in Nebo Cemetery in Nebo,  Ky.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Sunrise Children Services.
