Mildred Marie (Rackstraw) Woodruff

Mildred Marie Rakestraw Woodruff of Henderson formally of Mt. Pleasant Community of Webster County passed away 1pm April 7, 2015 @ Community Methodist Hospital in Henderson, KY.  She was raised in the MT. Pleasant Community, She attended Slaughters School & Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church.  She is preceded in death by parents Marion “Bud” and Evelyn Pearl Rakestraw, 2 sisters Dorothy Jean & Gladys Mae, and brother Joe.  She is survived by 2 Daughters, Connie Townsend of Dixon & Becky Woodruff of Henderson, 1 Son Steve Jones of Slaughters, Sister Betty Lou Sapp of Clearwater, FL, 7 Grandchildren, and 8 Great Grandchildren.  Graveside Services will be 1PM Friday @ Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Slaughters.  Jones & Kirby Funeral Home is in charge of Arrangements.
