Nadine Thomas

Nadine Thomas, 71 of Providence, passed away on Wednesday, May 30 in Henderson.
She was born on June 30, 1940 in Providence to Leamon and Dixie Ray.
Nadine graduated from Providence High School and was married to Donald Thomas in 1966 in Elizabethtown, IL.  The family lived in Providence and owned and operated JJ’s Restaurant for thirty years.  Nadine was a member of the Providence School Board for 16 years, 12 of those years serving as chairman of the board.
She is survived by her husband Donald of Providence, a daughter Kristi Ware of Providence, two sons, Joey of Providence and Michael of Madisonville.
Four grandchildren, Trenton Ware, Alex Ware, Wyatt Thomas and Morgan Thomas.
One Great Granddaughter, Cali Grace Ware.
Nadine took great joy in caring for her family.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice.   Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
