Raymond Bruce Farley, Sr. 90 of Lexington, KY native of Harlan County passed away on March 13, 2017 in Lexington. Raymond was born Dec. 11, 1926 to the late Brutus Clay Farley & Maud Florence Gross. Raymond is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Elizabeth (Fox) Farley, a Daughter Carla Jean Farley, 2 sons Raymond Gaese & Raymond Farley Jr and Great Grandson James Lee Farley the 2nd. He is survived by a son James L. Farley (April) of Lexington and a daughter Elizabeth Taylor (Dickie) of Paris, Ky, 11 Grandchildren & 15 Great Grand Children. He was Veteran of World War II and Korean conflict. He was the owner operator of Belchers Liquor Dispensary. Visitation will be 5 to 7 at The Church at Tates Brook Church in Lexington, KY on Friday March 17th with Graveside service at 12 noon on Saturday the 18th at Rest Haven Cemetery in Harlan Co. Ky with Military Honors. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Lupus Foundation of America and the American Sid’s Foundation. Jones Kirby Funeral Home in Charge of arrangements.
