Providence-- Robert "Bob" Ask 84, passed away at home on April 1, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Bob is now in the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Bob was the Co-Owner / Operator of Bob's Paint and Building Supplies, with his wife Phyllis for 28 yrs. in Providence, served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict, and was also a Gideon.
Bob is survived by his wife Phyllis, daughters Vickie (Kevin) Ferguson, of Lewisburg, TN, Pamela (Jody) Anderson, Providence and Regina (Jeff) Hook, of Bowling Green, KY. Five grandchildren; Justin, Joshua, Julie, Elizabeth, and Savannah. Three great-grandsons; Jaxon, Wyatt, and Hudson, and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by four sisters Joan Thornton of TN, Olga (Robert) Cairns, Betty (Ed) Sell, and Ruth (Kenneth) Weber all of Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents Ole and Alvina Ask, a sister Florence Westbrook and a brother -in-law Joe Thornton.
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday at Jones & Kirby Funeral Home with Bro. Barry Cullen officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery with military honors.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm and 11:00 am until service time on Wednesday at Jones & Kirby Funeral Home.
