Robert Harold Simms

Robert Harold Simms 78 of Providence, KY passed away at his son’s home March 6, 2014 at 9:28 p.m. He is preceded in death by his wife Mamie and two children Donald Simms and Nancy Hill.  He is survived by 4 sons Bobby of Providence and Darrell and Kathy Simms of Providence. Terry of Manitou, Billy of Sebree. 2 daughters Peggy Rine of Princeton and Doris of Henderson. One brother Cecil of Providence. One sister Jewell Jones of Madisonville. 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Mr. Simms was a plumber for over 50 years and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and farming. Visitation will be at Jones & Erdman Funeral Home Sunday March 9 from 4-8. Service will be Monday March 10 at 1. Interment at Oakley Home Cemetery in Hopkins County.
