Russell V. Rhye

Russell V. Rhye, 81, of Providence passed away on March 27, 2020 at his home in Providence.   He is the son of the late McNary & Eva (Oliver) Rhye also preceded in death by a son Jerry V. Rhye.   Russell is survived by his loving wife Haroldlene (Cox) Rhye, son Roger Neal Rhye (Jennifer), step daughter Johnetta Fritz,  step daughter Shanda Belt, brothers; Terry Rhye (Debbie), Neal Rhye (Diane), Bruce Rhye (Julie), 6 Grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.   Mr. Rhye was a long time member of the Providence 2nd Baptist Church and a retired Coal Miner.  Due to the Executive orders because of the Corona Virus the Funeral Service and Burial will be private.  There will be a drive thru  Visitation from 11am to 1pm on Monday March 30th at the Jones Kirby Funeral Home which will allow people to drive through and see and pay respects to the family without contact and the option to sign an online register book.  Jones Kirby Funeral Home is charge of arrangements and online condolences and more can be made at www.joneskirby.com
