Ruth Crowell

Ruth Alexander Crowell, 79, of Providence passed away at her Residence on February 24, 2018.  She is the daughter of the late   Herbert Leslie Alexander & Tavie (Ezell) Alexander also preceded in death by her husband Bobby Wayne of 59 years.  She was a member of Second Baptist Church of Providence and owner operator of Ruth & Bobs Cafe for many years in Providence.   She is survived by her daughters  Winona (Kerry) Ruth of Madisonville, KY, Ramona (Mark) Smith of Dixon, KY, Elaine (Todd) Cole of Providence, KY, Son: Cody (Terri) Crowell of Central City, KY, brother Ralph (Janet) Alexander, sisters; Lucille Edmiston & Joyce (Richard) Wilson and  9 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.  Visitation will be from 10am to 2pm on Tuesday February 27, 2018  in the Chapel of Jones Kirby Funeral Home with Funeral Services at 2pm conducted by  Bro. Cody Crowell, Bro. Ralph Alexander, & Bro. Laddie Pride with burial to follow in  Lakeview  Cemetery.   Jones Kirby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
