Sue Cardwell (Ferguson) Major

Sue Cardwell Major 98 of Providence passed away December 19 at Redbanks Colonial Terrace in Sebree. She was preceded in death by her parents John Frank and Pauline (Taylor) Ferguson, her 1st husband JD Cardwell, her 2nd husband Berry Franklin Major and a son Berry Major Jr.  She is survived by 3 sons David Cardwell (Mary),  John Major (Brenda) and Tom Major (Donna) and 2 daughters, Billie Cole (Dr. Wayne) and Betty Dunn (Dr. Jon), daughter in law Linda Major, niece Judy  Melton, 13 grandchildren, many many  great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 20 from 5-7pm and Wednesday, Dec. 21 from 9-11 with service at 11am in the chapel of Jones & Kirby Funeral Home with burial in Nebo Cemetery.
