Van Mooney Jr. 69, left his earthly home for his eternal resting place with the Lord on October 25, 2020. He was born to Van Edward Mooney and Birdie Mae (Marabel) Mooney on January 26, 1951 in Providence, KY. He attended Providence High and was a part of the American Legion. Van Jr was a United States Army Veteran and worked at Alcan Aluminum for 27 years. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them especially at family gatherings.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Diloris Mooney and Arsula (Sue) Johnson, brothers John Mooney and Robert E. (Tom Tom) Mooney. He is survived by his daughter Patricia Esters (Dewayne), sisters Celestine M Hutcherson (Startis) Doris A Morrow and Iris Hopson (George) brothers Willie Carol Mooney (Joanne), Monte Chris Lindle, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and their families.
