Virginia Darie (Clevenger) Capps

Virginia Daire Capps 82 of Providence, KY passed away in her sleep Monday, March 7, 2016 She is preceded in death by her husband William V.H. “Bill” Capps; and her parents Isom and Lillian Clevenger; brothers, L. J. “Chicken” Clevenger, Wilburn “Doughbelly” Clevenger; and sister, Edna Earl Hook. She is survived by her son William “Billy” Capps (Petersburg, IN); daughters Katherine Renee Capps (Providence, KY), and Debra Dee Lawson (Murray, KY); sisters, Opal Waide, Givannina Phillips, and Betty Stinnett, granddaughter Mindy Johnson; (sister in law Imogene Clevenger and Mary Lou Capps Forbes; three grandchildren Derek Houston Dairian Lawson (Crestwood, KY), Willian Seth Ryne Capps (Petersburg, IN), and James Dee Garen Lawson (Murray, KY); Mindy Johnson (Petersburg, IN); and five great grandchildren Keira Lynn Daire Lawson, Taya Cheyenne Lawson, Shane Houston Lawson, Caroline DaLynn Lawson and Clayton Ty William Lawson;  four step great grandchildren Brennan Wayne Benton, Courtney Johnson, Bella Tolman, and Aaron Jeffrey Johnson; and Visitation will be Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Jones and Kirby Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday, March 11, 2016  from 11:00 a.m. until Service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Green Grove Cemetery.
